Quality & Security

Every gram recovered. Every transaction documented. Every process auditable.

When the Material Has Value, the Process Must Be Flawless

In precious metal recovery, the difference between a reliable partner and an unreliable one is not visible in a brochure — it is visible in the documentation. At Suran Recycling, quality and security are not add-on services. They are the operational backbone of every intake, every analysis, and every settlement we execute.

Our processes are subject to a permanent improvement cycle across an integrated quality and environmental management system. Regardless of whether we are preparing an offer, sorting and processing material, or performing analyses — our procedures are observed to the letter. That is how we guarantee maximum recovery of your precious metals.

Right from the start, your materials are in safe hands with us. Every flow of goods is fully documented and fully transparent so that it can be tracked at any point. As a certified company, we stand for process reliability and high standards of quality across all levels.

Protecting your material is what matters to us. Our sites are subject to the highest safety standards — we ensure continuous monitoring of your materials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, through professional safety experts and state-of-the-art video surveillance and alarm systems.

Our Quality Framework

Analytical Precision

All precious metal content is determined using certified laboratory methods — fire assay for platinum group metals and gold, ICP-OES for confirmatory multi-element analysis. Results are reproducible, independently verifiable, and documented in a formal analytical report issued to the client before any settlement is confirmed.

Chain of Custody

Every batch of material entering our facilities is registered, assigned a unique reference number, and tracked through every stage of the process — from intake weighing to final settlement. No material changes status without a documented record. The complete chain of custody is available to clients on request.

Settlement Transparency

Settlement calculations are based exclusively on certified analysis results, published spot market prices from recognised benchmarks, and contractually agreed terms. No hidden deductions, no undocumented adjustments. Every calculation is explained line by line in the settlement documentation.

Material Security

Precious metal-bearing materials are stored in controlled-access areas throughout their time at our facilities. Movement between process stages is logged. Dispatch to certified refinery partners is executed under documented transfer procedures with weight verification at every handover point.

How We Maintain Process Integrity

Seven control points. No exceptions.

# 01

Intake Weighing

All incoming material is weighed on calibrated industrial floor scales at the point of receipt. The gross weight is recorded and confirmed with the client or logistics provider before the batch enters the process.

# 02

Batch Registration

Each batch receives a unique reference number that travels with the material through every subsequent process stage. This reference links intake records, analysis results, settlement documents, and dispatch records into a single traceable transaction file.

# 03

Controlled Sampling

Sampling is performed using standardised procedures — rotary sample dividers or riffle splitters — that ensure the analytical sample is statistically representative of the entire batch. Sampling methodology is documented per batch.

# 04

Certified Analysis

Fire assay and ICP-OES analysis are conducted under controlled laboratory conditions. Instruments are calibrated against certified reference standards. Results are cross-checked before issuance.

# 05

Client Report Issuance

The full analytical report — including methodology, instrument readings, and calculated precious metal content — is issued to the client in writing before any settlement offer is made or accepted.

# 06

Settlement Calculation

Settlement value is calculated against the analytical result and the agreed pricing mechanism (spot-based or fixed). The calculation is presented transparently in the settlement confirmation document.

# 07

Dispatch & Transfer Documentation

All material dispatched to refinery partners is accompanied by weight transfer documentation. The receiving refinery’s confirmation is retained in the transaction file and available to clients on request.

Certifications & Authorizations

Suran Recycling holds a comprehensive set of certifications and operational authorizations covering quality management, environmental compliance, information security, occupational safety, and precious metals trading. Every document is current and available to corporate partners for due diligence purposes.

ISO Management System Certifications

Operational Authorizations

Environmental Authorizations (per facility). Issued by the competent Romanian environmental authority for each operating location confirms full regulatory compliance with Romanian environmental legislation for waste processing and storage operations.

Annual Operating Visas. Current annual operational visas maintained for all active facilities — Pantelimon, Timișoara, and Chitila.

Trade & Industry Licenses

What You Receive With Every Transaction

No transaction closes without a complete documentation file.

Questions & Answers

How do I verify that Suran Recycling's analysis is accurate?

All analytical results are produced using fire assay and ICP-OES methods — internationally recognised standards in the precious metals industry. Instruments are calibrated against certified reference standards. Clients who require independent verification may arrange for split samples to be sent to a third-party laboratory of their choice prior to settlement.
